As someone who has experienced the emotional strain of being an unpaid carer myself, I understand how isolating, exhausting, and overwhelming caring for another person can become. Many carers feel they must stay strong at all times whilst quietly carrying anxiety, guilt, fear, and emotional exhaustion alone.
Through my own experiences, I understand the constant worry, the difficulty switching off, and the emotional impact that caring for a loved one can have on your own wellbeing. This lived understanding allows me to offer a compassionate, non-judgemental space where carers can speak openly about how they are really feeling without fear of being seen as selfish or failing.
You may be supporting an ageing parent, caring for a partner, or trying to balance caring responsibilities alongside work, family, and everyday life. Counselling can provide a space that is just for you — somewhere you do not have to hold everything together alone.
I am passionate about supporting unpaid carers across Norwich, Norfolk, and online throughout the UK who may be struggling with anxiety, overwhelm, burnout, grief, or feelings of losing themselves within their caring role.
